Zacharias T. Fomum

From his own Very Lips

About Himself

Professor ZT Fomum was a man of uncommon spirituality and a world shaping spiritual genius. He was exceptional in many domains. He was a University professor, a scientist, a world teacher on prayer and the spiritual life as well as a man of most unusual spiritual experiences. He was a team leader and apostle of a successful missionary work and movement.

He was also a leading voice for revival. He was a workaholic and loving in his personal relationships in an unusual way and drew to himself men and women of girth and great gifts in life-long relationships and commitment to a cause.

"From His lips" gives a glimpse into his heart but leaves room for an authoritative biography and other biographies to present the man and the work God did through him, his ministry and personal influence to the glory of our Exalted Lord Jesus Christ.

On Our Vision

Every architect works according to a plan and is faithful to the plan; faithful to the blueprint.

In the vision that God entrusted to professor Zach Fomum and those He called with him, and to those who will be co-opted, there is a plan in the mind of God.

Solomon put in clearly in describing his role as an executor, and his father David's role as a conceiver. He termed himself the hand of God and he termed his father the mouth of God. What God speaks through some, God accomplishes through others (2 Chronicles 6:4)

Then he said:
"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David ..."

We present in this book the vision of our work for all whom God has called alongside with us to execute the vision which He entrusted to His servant Zach Fomum and which was faithfully shared with his co-workers.

About our ministry

There are the general purposes of God and the distinct purposes of God that He entrust to specific individuals, groups of individuals, communities, and even to a Spiritual Movement. Both kinds of callings are documented in the Scriptures and all serve the economy of God's purposes.

To Zach Fomum and those that God called with him, a distinct economy of the Gospel was entrusted that translated into a clear goal. The pursuance of that goal through obedience to God's specific instructions has gradually clarified the will of God and the means of accomplishing His purposes. God's will, God's ways, our responsibility, who we must be, what we must do to please God, and accomplish our goal, is presented here as our ministry.

This is written to all who are part of our ministry, and for all who will be part of this ministry, so that we may serve in the same spirit around the same purpose, and by accomplishing the goal, bring glory to our Lord Jesus.

God Bless you

About His Co-Workers

Brother Zach defined his role in the work of God and functioned essentially as a team leader. He understood the work of God and leadership in terms of receiving from God His will and methods for His work, but he also looked to God to receive the men and women who were God's workers in the work. These became his co-workers. He was their team leader.

Some of the co-workers and co-leaders in his team served for short periods, and some served with him a lifelong commitment. From his lips, we can enter into the spiritual environment, and into the lives of the men and women who served the Lord with him.

For the purposes of testimony, many statements for correction, rebuke, and re-alignment have been deliberately omitted because the public nature of the book is inappropriate for such a ministry of perfection and intimacy. We have shared what came from his lips to motivate his co-workers, and that reflects his absolute faith not only in God but in those that had teamed up with him. He saw the good and he built on the good, and around such a leader, many unusual men and women emerged as is evident in these anecdotes.

May the Lord build you as you read, and may the Lord build you as you share in an unusual leader building men and women for God's work.
